    Description

    Description
This is an amazing piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built in vanity with a his and hers closet to either side.
It is made of walnut and is unpainted.
The center section is recessed and backed with a beveled mirror with a granite washstand below.
There is a drawer and small cabinet below the vanity.
To either side are doors to access the closet areas.
They each have a beveled mirror with 2 carved panels below.
There is a drawer below each door.
The legs have fluted pilasters topped with ornate carved corbels.
The pediments have amazing Eastlake spoon carved moldings, panels, crowns and brackets.
All the original brass Victorian hardware is intact, we even have one of the original skeleton keys.
    Magnificent piece.
It measures 112.25 inches wide by 101.5 inches tall and 19 deep.
It disassembles into 3 basic sections to load onto a pick up or cargo van.
This was a built in unit so the closet areas do not have backs or outside panels.
Overall it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning. There are small chips, dings and a few light cracks. There is paint along the very bottom.
Please look at the pictures carefully.

    Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
    About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
