AWESOME 54" vintage oak church pew from the Nativity of our Lord Church/ Chicago

This listing is for the pictured vintage oak church pew.  I was told by the person I purchased it from that it was used in the Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church, located in the Bridgeport region of Chicago.  The owners had displayed it in their home for over 45 years and are in the process of downsizing.  The church was established in 1868, first meeting in a stable adjacent to the Chicago stockyards.  In 1876, the cornerstone was laid for a permanent house of worship.  The building was designed to accommodate 1200 people.  This pew is an original pew and is 54" wide.  The end panels are thick (3 1/2"0 and are 40" high.  They are comprised of mixed woods (pictured for you)..The pew will extend out from the wall 20 1/2" but can be placed in any location as it is very sturdy and free standing.  The seat height is 16" from the floor and the seat depth is 14 1/2".  The seat back is 18 1/2" and the top of the seat back is 33" from the floor.  There is an old age crack in the back on the left side as you look at the pew.  It is secure and strong and has been there for many years and will not increase in size.  One end of the pew has the pew number "10" on it.  Former Chicago Mayor Richard Daley (mayor of Chicago from 1955-1976 and often referred to as the "last of the big city bosses" due to his usage of job patronage and strong arm control of the city)  is said to have attended the church. The pew is a recent find coming from a home in Ohio where it was placed in an entrance hall and later the family room.  I have gathered a brief history of the church and a printed copy will be given to the person who purchases the pew, along with an 8 /12" by 11" color picture of the church as it appears today.
Although the patina and wear in places give evidence of the remarkable age of the pew, it is extremely sturdy and would look great placed in any location of a home or office..
