Step 1
Position the puller flange end on the cam bearing and use a hammer to slightly tap it into place.
Step 2
Put the support plate in place. Then install and tighten the four screws to the corresponding holes.
Step 3
Insert the dowel pin into the center of the polar until fully seated. Then install the washer and the nut into place.
Step 4
Place a 9/16 wrench on the hex end of the puller to hold it in place. Then use a 1 1/8 wrench to slowly turn the nut clockwise until the bearing is removed.
Step 1
Thread the installer into the larger threaded hole on the support plate, and then install the two bearing driver tools.
Step 2
Place the new cam bearing on the driver tool and then lubricate the bearing.
Step 3
Put the support plate in place. Then install and tighten the four screws to the corresponding holes.
Step 4
Turn the bearing driver tool clockwise until it seats with the bore and ensure the bearing is correctly aligned. Then use a wrench to turn the tool clockwise until the driver hits the engine case.
