Ladies' Silver Portable Ashtray circa 1950s Unmarked

Description

This is a unique piece no longer found in today’s relatively smoke free environment. It has a ring shaped handle that is too small for any gentleman. With the lid popped open there is a cigarette rest.
It is etched with a cursive B monogram on the cover and is Etched XII on the lid and on the rim of the bowl. The etched marks indicate that the piece is solid silver but there are no marks to be found. The vintage S.S. Constitution cigarette lighter in the last picture is shown for display purposes only, but is available in a separate auction.
Measurements: 2 inch diameter and 3/4 inch thick the inside diameter of the finger ring is 1/2 inch
