VINTAGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE MEDALLION 9” PLATES

Description

These vintage, hand-painted Chinese Famille Rose Medallion plates date to about the 1970s. A red Chinese stamp on the base includes what appears to be the Da Quing Qianlong mark for second half of the 20
th
century. Chinese export porcelain. Measurements are about 9” in diameter by 1” high. Each plate features four quadrants—two with human figures and two with flowers and birds, and a centered peony and bird medallion surrounded by four butterflies. Appealing palette of soft rose, green, blue, and yellow, with touches of black and red. Gilt trim and accents. No chips, cracks, damage or repairs. Excellent condition. Coming from a private collection. Ready to be appreciated! Non-smoking household.
