    Description

    I am selling on behalf of the owner a vintage 1960’s Curtis Mathes made in the USA in Athens, Texas, Radio, Record Player and Recorder console unit.
    The radio tuner works great on both AM and FM. The record player also works and is a 4 speed unit. Will play 16, 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records. We have not tested the reel to reel recording unit because we have no reel to reel tapes. Overall it has 8 speakers total, 4 on each side.
    It’s issues are: stain mark on cabinet lid, cabinet lid closes a bit crooked due to the left stop missing, the front decorative leg in the middle is broken off but it’s included so you can fix it if you want. Few minor scratches that a good polish should fix. The electrical parts all seem to function as they should, but I am not an expert on radios or record players.
    The console measures 86” long, 18” deep and 27” tall and is very heavy. Bring at least 2 people or more to move it. Currently it’s in a ground floor room so getting it out is easy.
    Due to its large size this is local pickup only unless you want to arrange shipping and packing from your end. The owner does have space to store this for a short time to allow you to arrange pickup. Payment is due within 1 day of purchase or item will be relisted and a non pay alert will be sent to ebay. I have not see another one like this for sale.
