    Description

    Vintage HARRY'S BAR VENEZIA, Signed Ashtray, Home of the Bellini. Condition is "Used".
    This is a vintage ceramic ashtray from Harry's Bar in Venice, Italy...famous for it's Bellini Cocktails (Harry's invented them), and it's famous clientele ( Katherine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Orson Welles, Joe DiMaggio, Truman Capote and Ernest Hemingway).  The ashtray is handpainted and signed "Saimi".  The colors are yellow, burnt sienna, green, black.  Condition:  Please see the photos for the three chips, one very tiny on the inside, and 2 on the corner.  There is a light crackelure to the clear glaze. There are no cracks in the ceramic.  The brown mark to the left of the bartender and a couple other brown spots are original underglaze and are covered with glaze.  The ashtray is 6.5" x 5" x 1.5".    Will be well packed and shipped USPS.
