We tested the radio via connecting the source 12.5-13.5 Volts of DC power to the power connector of the radio. Testing was conducted on one or more of the ranges only in order to show that the receiver is running. Full testing was not carried out. At medium and long wavelengths there is almost no transmitting stations, so the receiver can just make noise and doesn't catch any signals or can catch only low signals, this also is normal.
