HERE WE HAVE:
A vintage, homemade tube radio! Chassis comes in a pretty crude wood housing. Made to have three dials on the front, although two of the knobs are missing. It doesn't have a power cord, instead it has two Signal Corps "Battery BA-56" batteries inside from 1944 and 1945. The speaker in it is marked as Utah Radio Products Co.
CONDITION:
Being sold as is, for parts or repair! Untested. The batteries are over 70 years old and I can't imagine they are good/working anymore! Missing two of the three dial knobs. I wiped out some of the excess dust from the back but it could use a deeper cleaning inside between tubes. The exterior, as mentioned in the description, is pretty crude. Wood is separating at some corners/seams. One crack at the front. General discoloration, scuffs, and scratches spread throughout.
