This is a listing for a single porcelain Famille Rose Mun Shou rice/soup bowl and spoon set that was manufacuted in the 1960s-1970s, in Jingdezhen, a city in China. We have a starting quantity of 14 available.
On each of these bowl and spoon sets the pattern is mainly coral pink and has images of bats which are symbolic for good luck and happiness, chrysanthemums which are symbolic for wealth and scrollwork lotus flowers which are symbolic for purity and perfection as well as a colorful Greek fret border on the top edge and a petal border on the bottom edge in the case of the bowl.
Also featured in this design are 4 Chinese characters "Wan", "Shou", "Wu", and "Jiang" which roughly translates to the Imperial Birthday wish, "May you have ten thousand longevities without boundaries.".
There are some blemishes from manufacturing on the bottoms of the spoons, but these sets are in very nice condition.
